Perth Tournament - RESULTS
After a very succesful tournament our elite squad returned home a respectable second place.

The tournament started off in auspicious cercumstances with our first game being played on a smaller pitch with no area for the ball to run off the pitch... We also had to quickly adapt to some interesting regional variations to the rules of the game such as Goalkeepers being allowed to kick the ball out! The elite squad found themselves going down to North Muirton 4-1.

Day 2 started off a lot more positively with a chance to right a few wrongs from the night beating North Muirton 3-1.

Game 2 saw us against Letham Tangies which was a strange game despite dominating the scottish side we found our selves 3-1 down with 5 minutes remaining... but with a huge amount of effort the boys managed to salvage a 3-3 draw.

In our final game of the tournament again against the Tangies we knew only a big result could win us the tournament and even then we would need other results to go our way...
After a hugely professional performance The Academy beat the tangies 7-1 to give themselves a chance of the title. Only to watch North Muirton come from behind twice to snatch victory and the title in their last game.

A fantastic effort from the elite squad saw us finish a respectable 2nd and pick up the fair play award to boot.
